Dear Dr. Rankin:-
At this belated date I want to take the opportunity
to congratulate you on your recent elevation to the
office of President-Elect, A.M.A.
Stress of work and time—comsuming things have prevented
my writing before.
I am so full of a certain subject just now that the
impulse to tell you is irresistible. It concerns a
lecture I am to give at the six—weeks training school
at Bloomington, under auspices of the University,
for recruit police officers, Indana State Police Dpt.
The subject,-- The Sociological and Psychdlogical
Bacggrcnndsof the Criminal, is about the biggest
order I have had for some time.
Just had a letter from Leland thanking us for the
effort in preparedness as related to the questionnaire.
We finished here about 98% of the total.
With my best regards, I beg tor remain,
Sincerely yours,
