its annual meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, yesterday that
Dr. Fred Wharton Rankin, a surgeon, of Louisville, Ky. l
a graduate of Davidson College, will become President
of the AMA a year from now? The AMA designates its
® presidents a full year in advance of their taking office
so they can plan professional activities accordingly.
Dr. Rankin was born in Mooresville, N. C., Dec. 20, 1886. He took his
medical training at the University of Maryland.
