OUR LADY OF GETHSEMANI
TRAPPIST,KENTUCKY

Sept 28,1958

Dear Jim:

Thanks for the last consignment of books. I have
sent some back in the last few days, in order to keep
things relatively even.

About Dutourd, I got the impression that the
Taxis of the Marne was a new book, and thought you
mi gFf'E Have Had it. I have heard of him as an inter-
esting writer, but do not know his work. I woled
be glad to see something else of his-- whatever seems
most important. Would you pick one out?

I have come across another book that looks
very good, but you might not have it: it is in
English, published in Italy, and quite expensmve:
P.M.Bardi, "The Arts in Brazil". It is published
by Edizioné del Milone, Via del Sacchi 3, Milan.
If by any chance you have it, or decide to get it,
I should be very interested in seeing it. The
Brazilian artists and especiale architects of the
present seem to me to be most impressive.

Thanks for your Libra News and for your article
in it.

I am still holding on to the Shestov, which is
very fine. Meanwhile, I send you a leaflet of poems
which my friend Bob Lax puts out. And all my good wishe

Faithfully in Christ
