Construction of Keeneland Hall: "Keeneland Ready for Women Students--The University of Kentucky's Keeneland Hall, new dormitory for girls, will be opened for the first time this fall. The $1,250,000 structure will house 312 women students. Keeneland Hall is named for the foundation which gave $200,000 towards its construction, the remainder coming from federal funds and accumulated earnings."
